BlinkLink™ >> services << Functionality • Create specific groups of mobile phones and PDA’s • When one member of the group arrives in a BlinkLink™ zone the other members of the group are notified by a message sent using Bluetooth. • The new arrival is notified when other members of the group have successfully been informed • If members of the group are out of Bluetooth® coverage the notifications can be sent via SMS Uses • Schools for parent/guardian collecting students • They arrive at the school car park and are detected. • Message sent to student saying who has arrived and where they are • The students are in a pre-determined area • The system knows if the child has received the message, and will notify the parent that the student is on their way.
